An arithmetic toy that uses semiotic association in the form of the object to reinforce the fundamental concept of addition… small + small = big. Design is a semiotic exercise. The translation of meaning into form for the designer and form into meaning for the audience makes the endeavour of designing very fascinating to me. I tap into this duality of translation to make this toy.
