About
Adithya is an artist and designer committed to the creation of contemplative objects. He uses design and art as vehicles that take on a descriptive role of the ever evolving society and culture that we live in. Through objects that orchestrate, mediate and emulate interactions that we have with our environment and with each other Adithya attempts to capture the poetics that lay shrouded by social fabrics and cultural frameworks.
He is also a multi-instrumentalist (primarily trained in Indian and Western classical violin for 17 years) and releases music under the name “Şoir” (“poet” in the language of the Tajiks), a painter, a published poet and a dramatist (having earned certificates in drama, speech and performance from the Trinity College, London).
